The Apple Island Crew are currently rebuilding a vessel from Newfoundland. It will be converted from 43 x 16 ft. to 50 x 23 ft.
Bay 1 is currently open for boats up to 65'. Another site nearby is available for building smaller pleasure boats / day cruisers.
An Apple Island Marine exhibit was on display at the The Mahone Bay Classic Boat Festival in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia August 2nd - 5th. The festival was a great success and the brilliant summer weather was perfect for the outdoor events and exhibits. We enjoyed visiting with the many people who stopped in to say hello to us and we appreciated the many positive comments about our booth. Apple Island plans to attend the Festival in 2008.
